For whom is the RESPI-IN-OUT Respiratory Trainer suitable?

Especially for people who undergo respiratory physiotherapy or pulmonary rehabilitation, people with asthma or people who suffer from panic attacks.

Inhaling and exhaling better

By practicing with the RESPI-IN-OUT you’ll get stronger respiratory muscles. This will help you to inhale and exhale more deeply. Once you have deeper breathing, it will be easier to loosen stuck mucus. The respiratory trainer delivers a positive pressure during exhalation (expressed in cm H₂O) and a certain volume during inhalation (expressed in cc).

3 different difficulty levels

The RESPI-IN-OUT comes with 3 coloured connectors: red, yellow and green. Each connector has a filter with different sized holes. By using a different connector, you can vary the level of the exercise. The red connector is the most easy training (ratio 1:1), green the most difficult (ratio 1:2) and yellow is in between (1:1.5). The RESPI-IN-OUT shows values between 1 and 14.

Tips

• For best results, it’s recommended to exercise several times a day.
• It’s recommended to sit upright and keep the RESPI-IN-OUT straight while exercising.
• You’ll achieve better results by inhaling or exhaling longer and keeping the ball in the same position.
• Clean the different parts of the RESPI-IN-OUT with warm water and allow them to air dry.
