|
The TurboBoy SX is appropriate for almost every one older than 4 years. The compressor is used to generate compressed air for operating a PARI nebuliser. The compressor must only be used for PARI nebulisers.
The PARI TurboBoy SX is known as nebuliser, but in fact it is only a compressor. This compressor is used in combination with the included PARI LC Plus nebuliser. The compressor generates compressed air, the actual nebulisation of the medication takes place in the nebuliser.
PARI is the top brand of inhalation devices. That's why the indestructible TurboBoy SX is very popular in nursing homes and among medical professionals. The manufacturer backs up their quality product with 4 years of warranty on the compressor.
PIF stands for Peak Inspiratory Flow. The PIF control technology by PARI recognizes whether you inhale too fast. Rapid inhalation is disadvantageous for absorbing medication effectively. By breathing in slowly the medication is dispersed deeper and more evenly throughout the lungs. PIF Control creates a soft resistance when inhaling too quickly, training you to breathe in more slowly.
Deposition of medication with rapid inspiration...
...and with slow inspiration.
Wipe the outer surface of the housing regularly with a clean, damp cloth. In normal operating conditions, the compressor filter must be replaced after every 200 operating hours, but at least once a year.
