Why do I need the Sefam heated tube?

Due to the temperature difference between the cool bedroom air and the warmer air in the tube, rainout (condensation) can form: especially when using a humidifier or during cold winter months. This condensation can build up and reach the mask. People who experience condensation in the tubing can benefit greatly from a heated tube. It keeps the air at a comfortable temperature throughout the night.

Smart comfort: manually or automatically controlled

You have full control over your comfort. The heating level of the Sefam tube can be easily adjusted via the CPAP menu. Do you prefer to let the machine handle it for you? Then use Adaptive Thermo Control – a smart feature that automatically adjusts the temperature. This way, the air stays consistently warm and free from rainout.

Please note: The heated tube is intended to be used in combination with the corresponding humidifier (available separately). Using a hose wrap is not possible. Don't clean the heated tube with a hose brush.
