For whom is the BMC RESmart GII H60 Heated Humidifier suitable?

For users of a PAP device from the BMC RESmart GII series.

Using a humidifier during your therapy

When using a CPAP or BiPAP, you may experience a dry nose or throat. This is because a constant air flow enters your airways during therapy. A heated humidifier offers a solution for extra comfort. A humidifier is not standard included with devices from the RESmart GII series from BMC.

5 adjustment levels

You can heat the water via the device itself. You can choose from 5 humidity levels. Which level is most suitable for you depends on the temperature and humidity in your bedroom. Do you suffer from condensation in the CPAP hose? Try setting your humidifier to a lower humidity level. A heated hose also helps against condensation. In combination with the RESmart GII H60 heated humidifier, we recommend the Plastiflex Hybernite Superday Rainout Control System.

Cleaning the humidifier and water chamber

For hygienic reasons, it’s very important to properly clean the humidifier and water chamber. Cleaning instructions for the different parts (and more information) can be found in the user manual.
